Tented Swala Camp is nestled in a beautiful, acacia forest enclave at the edge of the gently rolling savannah in the southwest corner of the Tarangire National Park. Each of the nine private, permanent tents feature en suite bathrooms with showers and terraces overlooking the bush and the Gurusi swamps. Tarangire is believed to have some of the largest herds of Elephants in Africa, as well as more than 300 species of breeding birds.

Swala Camp is the only camp in this section of the National park, affording guests private game viewing opportunities in open four-wheel drive vehicles with expert guides. For an intimate and interactive introduction to the local culture, additional excursions to a nearby local village school, which is funded by the camp, are available. One overnight at Swala Camp in a tent with an elevated terrace with en-suite facilities. Accommodation is on a full board basis including game-drives in a 4x4 safari vehicle with your private guide.

Days 2 & 3: Lake Manyara National Park

Days 4 & 5: Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area

After breakfast you transfer to Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.
Ngorongoro Serena Safari Hotel:
Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is built into the rim of a dormant and collapsed volcano (known as a caldera). Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest intact caldera, with over 20 000 animals making this their permanent home. The lodge, with its plant and ivy covered native stonewalls, blends quietly into the surroundings.
There are 75 guest rooms all with en-suite showers and most have a private terrace. Due to the prevailing cool climate in the region, the lounge and dining room are set indoors, with large picture glass windows providing excellent views of the crater.
