Days 1 & 2: Lake Manyara National Park

Upon your arrival at Arusha Airport you will be met by a Representative who will assist you in boarding your scheduled flight to Manyara Airstrip. Your flight departs at 08:45 in the morning and 14:30 in the afternoon. A representative from Lake Manyara Tree Lodge will meet you at Manyara Airstrip for your game-drive transfer, 2 hours and 30 minutes, to the lodge.

Lake Manyara Tree Safari Lodge:
Set in the heart of a mahogany forest, the Lodge takes the place of Maji Moto Tented Camp in Tanzania's unique Lake Manyara National Park. The Park nestles at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, and is noted for its incredible beauty. Surprisingly varied vegetation sustains a wealth of wildlife. Lake Manyara Tree Lodge accommodation comprises 10 stilted tree houses, cradled in the boughs of Mahogany trees, with an outdoor shower, bath, and double basins.

Guest areas are intimate and cosy, and overlook a forest boma, and interactive kitchen. The lakeshore Sala is a unique setting for dinners, picnics, and sundowners. The craft shop features community work. Activities include interpretive guided nature walks in the forest, along a perennial river down to the lakeshore - escorted by Maasai askaris, forest birding walks (the area has upwards of 400 species), and game drives.

Two overnights at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge in a tree house nestled in boughs of mahogany trees with en-suite bath, double basin, w/c and outdoor shower. Accommodation is on a full board basis including scheduled activities.

Days 3 - 5: Serengeti National Park

Early morning breakfast, before your game-drive to Manyara Airstrip, where you board your scheduled flight to Klein's or Grumeti Airstrip. A representative from Klein's Camp or Grumeti River Camp will meet you for your short game-drive to camp.

Klein's Camp Safari Lodge:
Tanzania is synonymous with the Serengeti National Park and its famed Wildebeest and Zebra migration. On the northeastern border of this National Park is a 10 000 hectare private concession, land that, historically, was given to a park warden by the Maasai as thanks for his dedication. Within this concession, perched on the edge of the Kuka Hills, affording breathetaking views, is Klein's Camp.
