Days 1 & 2: Selous Game Reserve

Upon your arrival at Dar es Salaam Domestic Airport a Representative will meet you for your scheduled flight to Kiba Airstrip in the Selous. Daily flights depart at 14:30. A representative from Selous Safari Camp will meet you at the airstrip for your game-drive to camp.

Selous Safari Tented Camp:
The Selous Safari Camp is located in the northeastern sector of the Selous Game Reserve. The area is the most densely populated game area in the Selous and game viewing from one's tent is often spectacular. Located on the banks of the mighty Rufiji River, the 12 spacious tents are mounted on wooden platforms and have been strategically placed to ensure maximum privacy. Each tent has en-suite basin and w/c facilities with an outdoor shower and lighting is solar powered.

The camp has a bar and dining area, which caters for all guest requirements. Activities include game drives in open 4 wheel drive vehicles, boat trips, walking with an armed guide, fishing for cat and tiger fish and excursions to the local village. For those guests who do not wish to leave the camp, relaxing by the swimming pool is an ideal way to spend the afternoon.

Two overnights at Selous Safari Camp in a tent on raised timber platforms with en-suite hand basin, toilet and open air shower. Accommodation is on a full board basis including two scheduled activities per day. Activities includes guided walks, game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles and river and fishing trips.

Days 3 & 4: Selous Game Reserve

Enjoy a walking safari in the Selous Game Reserve where each night is spent under the shaded canopy of an ancient acacia grove in custom made 'fly tents' designed to give an un-believable view of the African starlit sky. Two overnights in a tent with adjacent facilities on a full board basis with a maximum of 6 guests per departure.
