Selous Safari Tented Camp:
The Selous Safari Camp is located in the northeastern sector of the Selous Game Reserve. The area is the most densely populated game area in the Selous and game viewing from one's tent is often spectacular. Located on the banks of the mighty Rufiji River, the 12 spacious tents are mounted on wooden platforms and have been strategically placed to ensure maximum privacy. Each tent has en-suite basin and w/c facilities with an outdoor shower and lighting is solar powered. The camp has a bar and dining area, which caters for all guest requirements. Activities include game drives in open 4 wheel drive vehicles, boat trips, walking with an armed guide, fishing for cat and tiger fish and excursions to the local village. For those guests who do not wish to leave the camp, relaxing by the swimming pool is an ideal way to spend the afternoon.
Two overnights at Selous Safari Camp in a tent on raised timber platforms with en-suite hand basin, toilet and open air shower. Accommodation is on a full board basis including two scheduled activities per day. Activities includes guided walks, game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles and river and fishing trips.
Days 3 & 4: Selous Game ReserveEnjoy a walking safari in the Selous Game Reserve where each night is spent under the shaded canopy of an ancient acacia grove in custom made 'fly tents' designed to give an un-believable view of the African starlit sky. Two overnights in a tent with adjacent facilities on a full board basis with a maximum of 6 guests per departure.
Days 5 - 7: South of Dar es SalaamEnjoy an early morning activity and breakfast before your scheduled flight to Dar es Salaam. On arrival a representative from Ras Kutani will meet you for your transfer of approximately one hour to the lodge.

Ras Kutani is the perfect hideaway far from the madding crowds in which to relax after an exciting safari or to just unwind for a week or two. For those who prefer a more active stay there are facilities for sailing, windsurfing, snorkelling and fishing. Guests can take advantage of the empty beaches with long walks or explore the forests in search of the 4 different species of monkey. Accommodation is in spacious cottages constructed from local materials. Each cottage is en-suite with its own large verandah and all have great ocean views. Exotic menus are based on the abundantly available fish and crustaceans which is complemented by a well stocked bar. The hotel is accessed from Dar es Salaam either by road or by air (there is a private airstrip 2 minutes away). Three overnights at Ras Kutani in a thatched cottage constructed of local materials with en-suite facilities. Accommodation is on a full board basis.
