Day 1: Windhoek

Upon arrival at Hosea Kutako (Windhoek) Airport you will be met and assisted with your car rental formalities and given a briefing. 
A mere four minutes drive from Eros Airport or 40/45 minutes from Windhoek International Airport, the Windhoek Country Club Resort is an oasis in the desert.  Encircled by an 18 hole championship golf course, this luxurious hotel and casino offers its guests a variety of sports, entertainment and nightlife. Throughout the hotel the hues and patterns of the neighbouring Namib Desert have inspired the decor. 

There are a 152 bedrooms and suites all of which have an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, direct dial telephone, colour TV, mini bar, hair dryer and balcony.  Named after the trees that dot the desert horizon, the 160 seater Kokerboom Restaurant offers a superb a la carte menu and speciality buffet. Light meals are served on the terrace overlooking a water world feature and the swimming pool. In addition to the golf course there are two floodlit tennis courts, a driving range and bowling green and in the vicinity of the hotel there is horse riding, parachuting, a gymnasium and squash courts.  

The hotel has a complimentary shuttle bus, which will take guests into Windhoek town.  For the businessman there is a 24 hours business centre with in house video conferencing. The entertainment centre and casino boasts a huge range of slot machines, roulette, poker and blackjack as well as a range of video games. One overnight at Windhoek Country Club in a twin bedded room with an en suite bathroom.  Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2: Okonjima Bush Camp

Okonjima lies nestled in the unspoiled beauty of the Omboroko Mountains, part of the Waterberg Plateau.  In the Herero language, Okonjima means ‘place of the baboons’. This is a family run lodge, which is known for its peaceful, caring and friendly atmosphere. There are only ten rooms, which are set around an attractive garden.
