9 Day Twiga Trail Special Safari, Lake Nakura and Maasai Mara, Kenya

Day 1: The Stanley Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya

You start your tour upon arrival at O.R Tambo International Airport (formally Johannesburg International Airport). Here you are met by a representative and transferred to the Stanley Hotel. Lunch and dinner on your own account. Overnight at Stanley Hotel or similar on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2: Lion Hill Sarova Lodge, Lake Nakuru National Park, Kenya

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before driving to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch is had at your lodge before an exciting afternoon game/bird viewing drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at Lion Hill Sarova Lodge or similar on a full board basis.

Day 3: Mara Sarova Tented Camp, Masai Mara, Kenya

After tucking into a delicious breakfast at the lodge, you drive further southwest on the floors of the Great Rift Valley past Liota plains to the spectacular Masai Mara Game Reserve - one of the world’s premier wildlife sanctuaries.

Day 4: Mara Sarova Tented Camp, Masai Mara, Kenya

This morning there is a wakeup call with coffee and tea before your morning game/bird viewing drive. Return to the sumptuous breakfast at camp, spending the rest of your morning at leisure. Lunch is had at camp before your afternoon game/bird viewing drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Tented Camp or similar on a full board basis.

Day 5: Mara Sarova Tented Camp, Masai Mara, Kenya

Spend another day at your camp enjoying morning and afternoon game drives. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Lodge or similar on a full board basis.

Day 6: Whitesands Beach Hotel, Mombasa, Kenya

After an early breakfast, bid farewell to the majestic Masai Mara and drive back to Nairobi. Lunch is at the Brazilian styled Carnivore Restaurant. In the late afternoon you transfer to the airport for your coast flight. On arrival at Moi Airport you will be met and transferred to your beach hotel. Dinner and overnight at Whitesands Beach Hotel or similar on a half board basis.

Days 7 & 8: Whitesands Beach Hotel, Mombasa, Kenya

Spend 2 extra nights at the beach hotel on a half board basis. Overnight at Whitesands Beach Hotel or similar.

Day 9: Mombasa - Nairobi, Kenya

Bid so long to the beach hotel as you are transferred to Moi Airport for your flight back to Nairobi. Upon arrival at O.R Tambo International Airport, you directly connect with your outbound international departure flight home.
