Day 2: Sarova Shaba Lodge, Shaba Game Reserve, KenyaRelish an early morning breakfast at the hotel, followed by a drive through the coffee, tea and pineapple plantations of the north, past the Equator to Samburu. Lunch at Sarova Shaba Lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge or similar on a full board basis. |
Day 3: Sarova Shaba Lodge, Shaba Game Reserve, KenyaSpend another day at Sarova Shaba Lodge on morning and afternoon game drives. Three meals and overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge on a full board basis. |
Day 4: Lion Hill Sarova Lodge, Lake Nakuru National Park, KenyaBreakfast is enjoyed at the lodge before you bid farewell to Samburu and drive via Nyahururu Falls down to the floor of the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch at Lion Hill Lodge, followed by an afternoon game/bird viewing drive. Dinner and overnight at Lion Hill Lodge on a full board basis. |
Day 5: Mara Sarova Tented Camp, Masai Mara, KenyaBreakfast is had at the lodge. Drive further southwest of the country on the floors of the Great Rift Valley, past Liota Plains to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. |
Day 6: Mara Sarova Tented Camp, Masai Mara, KenyaWake up early for a morning game drive, returning to your camp for breakfast and a mid morning game drive. Tuck into lunch at your camp before your afternoon game/bird viewing drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Tented Camp or similar on a full board basis. |
Day 7: Mara Sarova Tented Camp, Masai Mara, KenyaSpend another day at your camp with morning and afternoon game/bird viewing drives. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Tented Camp or similar on a full board basis. |
Day 8: The Stanley Hotel, Nairobi, KenyaAfter enjoying a delicious breakfast, bid farewell to Masai Mara and drive back to Nairobi, arriving at mid-day. Lunch is at your own account. The afternoon is yours to relax and enjoy the area, shopping and sightseeing. Dinner on your own account. Overnight at the Stanley Hotel or similar on a bed and breakfast basis. |
Day 9: DepartAfter breakfast this morning, you are transferred to O.R Tambo International Airport for your outbound international flight back home. |

The rhino population has multiplied over the years, and Rothschild giraffe have been introduced into the Park. Waterbuck abound, as well as a variety of antelope, Lion, Leopard and Hippo. Large pythons can often be seen crossing the roads.
