The 44 rooms are spacious and airy, most with fireplaces and garden access. The eight rooms in the Chania wing are wood paneled with a fireplace, balcony, satellite television and minibar.
The remaining rooms also with garden access are older in style, reminiscent of the 1920s with large bathrooms, a legacy from Colonial days.

There is a bird walk at 7am and a river walk at 10am that should not be missed. Your guide will identify the flora that grows on the banks of the Chania River, the highlights of which are the massive five hundred year old Mugumo Tree and a waterfall gorge where the river squeezes between black rocks.
Within the 30 acres of the Outspan there is a swimming pool, squash and tennis courts and a snooker room. In addition guests are welcome to use the challenging 18-hole Nyeri Golf Course next door to the hotel. The two conference rooms each take 70 delegates comfortably and make an ideal venue for meetings.
