Nderit - Dodos Tower, Lake NaivashaA private homestead set in amongst a forest of Acacia on the banks of Lake Naivasha. Nderit is an old four storey colonial house, which was built in 1933. Spread over four floors the rooms are exquisitely decorated with antique and fine local furniture. There are five rooms in the house, some with private bathrooms and the others with adjoining showers. The lounge and dining rooms are always accessible but many of the meals are served in the beautiful areas surrounding the house, such as breakfasts by the lake, poolside buffets, or picnics up on the hill. Daytime activities include game walks and game drives, water activities such fishing, boating and sundowners on Lake Naivasha and relaxing by the swimming pool. Horse riding, scenic flights over the rift valley and visits to Hells Gate Park, Elsamere Conservation Centre, Crescent Island or any of Kenya's parks can be arranged at an extra charge. The homestead offers a range of beauty therapy treatments such as yoga, acupuncture, massage and reflexology. Set in a traditional English garden and furnished with antiques and fine local furniture. The accommodation is made up of eight rooms ranging from suites to double and twin rooms, each has a private or adjoining shared bathroom with either bath or shower facilities.
